We opened in May 2019 as part of the Urban Guild, an independent spot tucked into the Lower Gardens in the middle of Bournemouth, a few minutes from the beach. There are multi-level terraces above the trees with festoon lights, candles and the odd pineapple (we'll explain when you're here), and inside, one warm plant-filled room with a long bar.

Our kitchen, steered by head chef Lukasz, cooks from morning brunch all the way through to late dinner, using local, fresh and seasonal food and drink from epic suppliers in Dorset and the surrounding areas. At the bar, our beverage boffins make one of the best locally sourced coffees in town by day and mix tasty, punchy cocktails by night.
The bar is stocked with great beers, fine wines and bartenders who can shake up a cocktail to knock your socks off. By day it pours locally sourced coffee and pots of Dorset tea; by evening, buy a bottle of wine to share or take a round of beers out onto the deck for sunset.

We're all about spreading love and making memories with whoever comes through our doors, whether that's a quick coffee or a three-course meal on the tree-top terraces. Being independent means we get to do things our own way, and the big chains simply can't copy that.

The staff come up again and again: friendly, attentive servers who find you a table quickly, keep you updated and top up the water before you ask.
